Long Island, NY - August 21, 2017 - The Missing Persons Squad is investigating a missing person that occurred in Hempstead on Sunday, 08/20/17 at 3:00 P.M.
 
According to detectives, Michael Turrell, 79, male white, who suffers from dementia, has not been in contact with family members since the above listed date and time. His last known location was at his residence on Marshall St. His destination was Venus restaurant located at 546 Hempstead Ave. in West Hempstead.
 
Detectives request anyone with information regarding this missing person to contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
