Woman Attempts to Withdraw Cash at Nesconset Bank Using Fake ID, Cops Say

Nesconset, NY - August 20, 2018 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a woman who used fake identification in an attempt to withdraw funds from a bank.
 
A woman entered Chase Bank, located at 705 Nesconset Highway, Nesconset on July 31 at 11:50 a.m., displayed a fake driver’s license and ATM card, and attempted to withdraw funds from a valid bank account. When bank employees became suspicious, the woman fled the scene. The woman was described as blonde, approximately 60 years old, carrying a cane. She was last seen getting into a grey Honda Accord occupied by two young men in the bank parking lot. 
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
