Police Issue Alert for 14 Year-Old Hempstead Child Reported Missing

Hempstead, NY - August 20, 2018 - Missing Persons Squad detectives are investigating a missing juvenile from Hempstead that occurred on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. and was reported to police on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11:00 p.m.
According to detectives, Kamel Cedeno, 14, a male black was last seen at his residence. He is 5’6” tall, 130 pounds, with brown curly hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt with a multi colored backpack and had one stud earring in each ear. His possible destination is unknown.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above listed missing juvenile to call Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
