SCPD Seeking Suspect Who Used Counterfeit Currency at Watermill Store

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who used counterfeit currency at a Watermill store in July.
 
A man entered Shell Mart located at 960 Montauk Highway, on July 16, at approximately 12 a.m. and made a purchase with two counterfeit $100 bills.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com.
