Long Island Authors and Writers Society Holds Workshop on Using Social Media

East Meadow, NY - August 19th, 2013 - Long Island Authors and Writers Society  will sponsor a free workshop about using Social Media on Wednesday, September 18 at 7 PM at East Meadow Public Library, 1886 Front Street East Meadow, NY 11554.

The program is titled Social Media Marketing Made Simple. It is presented by Constant Contact ® and will be facilitated by Kevin Stoner, a Constant Contact Accredited Solutions Provider and Authorized Local Expert.

This information-packed, 90-minute seminar offers a basic review of the essential strategies needed to get started with social media marketing. It will cover: what social media marketing really is and why it's important, various social media networks and tools: how they interact, ways to leverage their strengths, how to evaluate them for best use; how people are using these low-cost tools to gain visibility and develop relationships to drive sales and engagement, and how to incorporate social media to promote your product and yourself.

Participants will have time to ask questions, share experiences, and network with peers. They will leave with real-world insights and knowledge that they can put to work immediately to reach their marketing goals.

This LIAWS workshop is free to LIAWS members, their guests and the public.
