Mangano Presents a Tribute to “The Boss” and “Sir Paul” on Saturday, August 16th at Lakeside Theatre

East Meadow, NY - August 14, 2014 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano in association with Brian Rosenberg present “Wingsteen” a tribute to Bruce Springsteen by Tramps Like Us, and a Tribute to McCartney and Wings by The Mystic at Eisenhower Park’s Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre on Saturday, August 16th.  The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.  Admission is free.
 
Tramps Like Us brings more than 2 decades of road-tested musicianship that have won this band the hard-earned distinction of the planet’s most revered Bruce Springsteen Tribute band.  The group captures the classic Springsteen sound, and remains true to the spirit and energy of the music, while delivering them with the passion and conviction of the Boss.  
 
The Mystic is one of the tri-state area’s best live cover bands.  This band covers each song with such authenticity and feeling that fans and guests are left with lasting impressions of great music.  Each of the band’s eight talented members contributes to the band's unique persona and captivating style.
 
Much of the programming at the Lakeside Theatre is made possible through the Nassau County Hotel/Motel Proceeds Grant, which are proceeds from taxes on hotel and motel rooms in Nassau County. Since 2006, Nassau County has received more than ten million dollars from the Hotel/Motel Proceeds Grant, which also has assisted in historic building restoration and other cultural enhancements.
 
About Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre
The Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre is located near parking fields 6 and 6A in Eisenhower Park. Lakeside Theatre is a venue with no formal seating. Concertgoers are urged to bring folding chairs or blankets. Special accommodations are available for disabled patrons, including reserved parking, easily accessible restrooms and a convenient reserved location on the hill. Assistive hearing devices are also available upon request for the hearing impaired.
