SCPD: Motorcyclist Killed in Motor Vehicle Crash
Manorville, NY - August 9, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Manorville tonight.
Anthony Balbi was driving a 2012 Honda westbound on Mill Road, west of Edwards Avenue, when it appears he couldn’t maneuver a turn, drove into the woods and struck a tree at approximately 6:05 p.m.
Balbi was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, where he died from his wounds.
The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone who may have witnessed this crash is asked to call the Seventh Squad at (631) 852-8752.
