Suffolk County Police Officers Help Deliver Baby in Terryville

Terryville, NY - August 9, 2018 - Three Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Officers helped deliver a baby in Terryville on the morning of Thursday, August 9.
 
Officers Jon-Erik Negron, Brian Cann and Karl Allison responded to a 911 call of a woman giving birth at a residence on Lisa Lane at approximately 2:20 a.m. The officers assisted Keri Fort, the full term expectant mother, who gave birth to a baby girl at approximately 2:44 a.m. The officers were assisted by Terryville Rescue paramedics Gina Brett, Kevin Bader and Chris Myers.
 
Fort and her newborn daughter were transported to St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson in good condition.
 
This was the third time Officer Negron assisted in the delivery of a baby since joining the department in 2013.
