Authorities Seeking Vandals Who Caused $50,000 In Damage to Northport Golf Course

Northport, NY - August 9, 2018 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify the person or people who damaged a Northport golf course last month.
 
An unknown person or people damaged greens at Crab Meadow Golf Course sometime between 10 p.m. on July 30 and 3 a.m. on July 31. The damage will cost approximately $50,000 to repair. 
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
