Mastic, NY - August 8, 2016 - The Suffolk County SPCA arrested and charged a Mastic man with Animal Cruelty on August 3, 2016.
Gavin T. Hessings, 30, was arrested for severely neglecting his dogs. One of the dogs, a female pit bull, which was extremely emaciated, was transported by Brookhaven Animal Shelter to a local animal hospital where it had to be humanely euthanized.
Hessings will appear in First District Court in Central Islip on September 26, 2016.
