SCPD: Woman Wanted for Stealing Lobster

Hauppauge, NY - August 8, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify the woman who stole merchandise from the Shop Rite in Hauppauge.
 
On June 29, 2014, at approximately 12:53 p.m., a woman entered the grocery store, located at 335 Nesconset Highway.  She placed approximately $65 worth of lobsters in a reusable bag and left the store without paying.  The suspect fled in a white SUV.
 
The suspect was wearing a black shirt with a white flower design and jeans.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
