SCPD: Woman Arrested for Stealing Money from Unlocked Vehicles Parked at Cemeteries

Farmingdale, NY - August 7, 2018 - Suffolk County Police First Precinct Crime Section officers arrested a woman for multiple thefts from different vehicles parked at a cemetery in Farmingdale.
 
First Precinct Crime Section officers were investigating numerous larcenies that occurred at cemeteries in Farmingdale between April and July in 2018.  After a thorough investigation, officers discovered that Tiffany Radford was responsible for the thefts. Radford targeted unlocked vehicles as their occupants were at a gravesite.
 
Radford was arrested at the First Precinct, located at 555 Route 109, in Farmingdale, at approximately 2:20 p.m. She was charged with four counts of Petit Larceny for thefts from vehicles parked at Saint Charles Cemetery, located at 2015 Wellwood Ave., on April 21, June 17, June 30 and July 15, 2018.
 
Radford, 30, of Farmingdale, is also suspected of being involved in other larcenies that occurred at Saint Charles Cemetery and at Pinelawn Memorial Park, located at 2030 Wellwood Ave., Farmingdale. Anyone who believes they may be a victim of this crime is asked to call First Precinct Crime Section officers at 631-854-8132. Residents are reminded to always lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight.
