Six Men Wanted for Inwood Mugging

Inwood, NY - August 5th, 2014 - The Fourth Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 11:30 pm in Inwood.

According to detectives, a 58 year old male victim was walking home when six unknown male black subjects (no further description) riding bicycles approached the victim as he entered his driveway located on Jeanette Avenue. All subjects surrounded the victim and began punching him in the head causing him to fall to the ground. The subjects then removed his cell phone from his pocket and then fled on their bicycles in an unknown direction. The victim suffered contusions and abrasions to the head and face. He was transported by a Nassau County Police Ambulance to a local nearby hospital for treatment.
