Tuesday 5pm: Suffolk Sheriff To Hold National Night Out, Thousands Expected To Attend

Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. and the Town of Brookhaven will be holding the largest east end National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 5 from 5pm to 8pm at Fireman’s Memorial Park in Ridge.

The event, which generally draws more than 2,000 residents, will include a DJ, interactive games, Starbucks coffee, a petting zoo and dozens of non-profit and government partners offering free giveaways. 

In addition:

  • Softball games between Suffolk Corrections, Suffolk Deputies
  • Bingo with prizes
  • Free ice cream truck
  • Ridge FD offering BBQ and demonstrations.
  • Suffolk Sheriff vehicles on display
  • Tug-o-War
  • Starbucks coffee and treats
  • Face Painting
  • Drill team demonstrations
  • Petting Zoo
  • Nearly 50 vendors with giveaways
