Report: North Patchogue Church Burglarized and Damaged by Unknown Suspects

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Precinct officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person or people responsible for damaging a church in North Patchogue in July.
 
A person or persons entered Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, located at 495 North Ocean Ave., at approximately 3 p.m. on July 16 and broke eight donation boxes. Approximately $100 in cash was taken from the boxes. 
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
