Massapequa Park Parolee Busted On Illegal Weapons Charges, Cops Say
Massapequa Park, NY - July 31, 2018 - The Seventh Squad reports the details of an arrest of a Massapequa Park man for illegal weapons that occurred on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 8:45 P.M. in Massapequa Park.
According to detectives, Police Officers were called to a residence on Park Lane to assist Nassau County Probation Officers with an investigation. While at the residence, Probation Officers recovered metal knuckles, 2 gravity knives and 2 loaded high capacity magazines. Daniel Hopkins, 53, was arrested without incident.
The defendant is charged with 5 counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon. He will be arraigned on July 28, 2018 at First District Court in Hempstead.
