Suspect Wanted for Hitting Levittown Senior Citizen, Fleeing the Scene

Levittown, NY - July 30th, 2014 - The Second Squad reports the details of a Leaving the Scene of an Accident which occurred on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 7:15 A.M. in Levittown.

According to detectives, a female victim, 80 years of age, was struck by a silver car travelling westbound on Stirrup Lane while she was putting out her garbage in front of her home.  The vehicle was last seen driving westbound on Stirrup Lane.  The victim suffered bruises and injuries to her shoulder and hip. She was transported to an area hospital for treatment to her injuries.

Detectives ask anyone with information about this incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.  All callers will remain anonymous.
