Wyandanch Woman Arrested for Driving with 46 License Suspensions, Officials Report

Suffolk County Police arrested a woman for driving with 46 license suspensions in Deer Park.
 
Juwel Johnson was driving a 2006 BMW northbound on Commack Road and turned east on Grand Boulevard, when a First Precinct officer initiated a traffic stop for failure to signal. A check on Johnson’s license showed she currently possesses a non-driver ID only, and her DMV license record revealed it been suspended 46 times on 14 different dates. Johnson’s vehicle was impounded.
 
Johnson, 38, of Wyandanch, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, a felony.
 
Johnson posted bail at the precinct is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on September 30.
