Update: Bay Shore Man Arrested for Killing Farmingville Woman

Update - July 29th, 2014 - Suffolk County Police today arrested a Bay Shore man for killing Monica Lino in her Farmingville home yesterday.  Homicide Squad detectives charged Charles Pray, 34, of Frederick Ave., with Murder 2nd Degree.  He will be held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on July 29.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Farmingville, NY - July 28th, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a Farmingville woman.

Sixth Precinct officers responded to Berkshire Drive residence in Farmingville, after receiving a 911 call on Sunday, July 27 at 3:18 p.m.  When officers arrived, they found Monica Lino, 36, who lives at the home, dead.  Further investigation revealed she was a victim of violence.

An autopsy will be conducted by the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
