Inwood, NY - July 27, 2016 - Fourth Squad detectives are investigating an incident that occurred on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 12:01 am in Inwood.

According to detectives, Fourth Precinct officers received a call for possible shots being fired in the apartment complex courtyard area in the vicinity of 385 Bayview Avenue. Responding officers, at that time, were unable to locate any victims, witnesses or property damage.

On Monday, July 25, 2016, detectives were notified by the property manager that video of the incident was obtained confirming that two unknown subjects, one with a gun, fired shots in the direction of another group of unknown victims who were a distance away. All parties then fled the scene.
