Suffolk County Leg. Rob Trotta Welcomes Kings Park Resident Cherie Lehmann to Sing the National Anthem at Smithtown Library's Summer Concert Series

Smithtown, NY - July 26, 2016 - Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta introduced Cherie Lehmann, who sang the National Anthem at the July 21 Dennis Cannataro Summer Concert Series at the Smithtown Library. Mrs. Lehmann resides in Kings Park with her family and is a music teacher at the Sachem School District.

“I have known Cherie and her family for a while and have heard her sing with her band and thought the audience would appreciate her voice and judging by the applause she received they did,” said Legislator Robert.

The concerts are held each Thursday night at 8pm on the front lawn of the Smithtown Main Library through August 18 and feature tribute bands. The Sunrise Rotary also collects non-perishable food and toiletries for the Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry.

Legislator Robert Trotta represents the 13th Legislative District, which includes Smithtown, Fort Salonga, Kings Park, San Remo, Nissequogue, Head of the Harbor, and St. James, as well as most of East Northport and parts of Northport and Commack.

Legislator Trotta serves on the Legislature’s Economic Development, Environment, Planning & Agriculture, Health, Public Works, Transportation & Energy, and Ways & Means Committees.
