RISE Life Services, a Riverhead nonprofit organization that was established in 1980 to provide homes and programs to developmentally disabled persons, has named Christopher Nassauer Human Resources Operational Director.

 

“We are happy to have Christopher join RISE as the need for the services that RISE provides increases every day,” said Charles Evdos, RISE Executive Director.

 

Christopher graduated from Marquette University, where he studied Criminal Law. He later attended St. Joseph’s College and obtained a certification in Business Management.

 

He has held Administrative Level roles in the education, retail, financial services and non-profit sectors. For the past 18 years he has managed human resource functions in his various roles. His last role as Human Resources and Training Director was at a residential substance abuse and mental health treatment facility and an Article 28 facility. His extensive experience in managing people and his business background will serve well for Rise Life Services.

 

Chris has in the past volunteered his time as a youth soccer league coach as well as a cub scout den leader.
