Man Caught Exposing Himself While Peeping in Westbury Woman's Window, Officials Report

Westbury, NY - July 23, 2018 - Third Squad Detectives report the details of an arrest of a Westbury man for Assault that occurred at 11:14 P.M. on July 20, 2018 in Westbury.
 
According to detectives, defendant Allan Delfino, 42, was observed in the rear yard of a residence on Plumtree Rd. Defendant was looking into a bedroom window exposing himself to a 23 year old female victim. The victim screamed and defendant ran off through the victims yard and over a fence. 
 
The victims scream alerted her neighbor, a 36 year-old male that observed the defendant running from the Plumtree Lane property. The neighbor then tackled defendant in an attempt to restrain him until police arrived. Defendant repeatedly punched the 36 year old victim in the face and was able to break free and flee. The victim suffered contusions to his left eye, was treated at the scene but refused further medical treatment. After a search of the area, defendant was located and arrested in the yard of a Bromton Drive residence.
 
The defendant is charged with Assault 3rd, Stalking 4th, 2 counts of Criminal Trespass and Public Lewdness. He will be arraigned on July 21, 2018 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
