In June, Bellport Village residents noticed something new blooming in their midst. A pop-up flower shop had sprouted in the pergola between Café Castello and Pamela Lerner Home + Design at 141 South Country Road.

 

The shop is the brainchild of local artist Fabian Bernal and Justin Fleet.

 

Open from 8am to 2pm on Saturdays and offers a variety of fresh flowers. For more information, visit the Good Morning Bellport website.

 

Brookhaven Town Supervisor Ed Romaine said at a ribbon cutting for the pop-up flower sho that this was a perfect fit for Bellport Village.

 

“It’s a good place to go if you need to buy a gift for someone or to brighten up your own house with some beautiful flowers,” he said. “Good luck to Fabian and Justin, and thanks for making Bellport more beautiful village.”
