NCPD Crime Alert: Teen Mugged in Uniondale

Uniondale, NY - July 20th, 2015 - First Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Uniondale on Saturday, 07/18/15 at 1:00 A.M.

According to detectives, a male victim, 18, while walking with friends on Babylon Tpke., was approached by a group of males driving in a black newer model Honda with silver writing on the lower part of the windshield.  The victim and his friends ran through rear yards in an attempt to flee the occupants of the car. The subjects, armed with a knife, located the victim in front of 36 Centennial Ave.

One subject punched the victim causing him to fall to the ground.  The victim covered his face as the other subjects began punching and kicking him.  The subjects removed the victim’s pink Nike sneakers from his feet and took his wallet containing his I.D.’s. The subjects fled the scene in the vehicle in an unknown direction. On 07/18/15, the same black Honda drove down the victim’s block, stopped in front of his house revving the engine and then circled the block three more times.

Subject #1 is described as a male black, 16 years of age, 5’4” tall, medium build, afro, clean shaven, wearing black cargo pants, white shirt with stripes, and armed with a black gravity knife. Subject #2 is a male Hispanic, 18 years of age, 5’8” tall, thin build, Caesar style haircut, chin hair, wearing a dark ¾ sleeves baseball shirt. Subject #3 is a male black, age 20, 5’6” tall, stocky build, wearing a white t-shirt, black cargo pants, and dark fitted cap with a NY logo. Subject #4 is a light skinned male black.  No further description is available.
