Teen Ejected from Car in Hicksville Auto Accident

Hicksville, NY - July 20, 2014 - Second Squad detectives report the details of a serious auto accident that occurred in Hicksville on Saturday, 07/19/14 at 4:45 P.M.
 
According to detectives, a 2010 Honda Accord operated by a male victim, 19, was travelling southbound on S. Broadway when he was in collision with a 1999 Honda Civic, operated by a male victim, 52, with two female passengers, ages 16 and 18, who were travelling eastbound from Lee Ave. towards Murray Rd.
 
Nassau County Police Ambulances along with Hicksville Fire Department Ambulances transported all four victims to a local hospital.  The 16-year-old rear passenger, who was ejected from the vehicle, suffered head, neck and back trauma and is listed in serious but stable condition. The remaining three victims, who suffered neck and back pain were treated and released.
 
Detectives report no apparent criminality at this time.  Both vehicles were impounded for brake and safety checks.
