Nassau County Legislator Kevan M. Abrahams (D – Freeport) recently partnered with the Roosevelt Police Activity League (P.A.L), and Clarity Surgicalto launch a youth tennis clinic at Roosevelt’s Centennial Park. 

 

Youngsters received one-on-one instruction from a volunteer instructor who taught them proper technique and basic tennis skills through simple drills. 

 

“Support from community sponsors like theRoosevelt P.A.L. and Clarity Surgical make affordable and accessible clinics like these possible,” Legislator Abrahams said. “There is still time to join, I encourage young people to register and meet at Centennial Park during the month of July to learn more about the sport of tennis.”
