Hicksville, NY - July 19, 2017 - The Second Precinct reports the details of a serious Aided that occurred on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 1:40 pm in Hicksville.
 
According to officers, a 911 call was dispatched and Second Precinct Police officers responded for an Aided Case at Spice Specialist, 47 Bloomingdale Road. The 30 year old male was operating an industrial grinder and accidentally got his left arm and right leg stuck in the machine. 
 
The victim was eventually freed from the grinder and was transported in a Nassau County ambulance to an area hospital for treatment regarding his injuries. 
 
He is currently listed in critical condition.
