Leg. Rob Trotta Introduces Roseanne Kleppsattel of Kings Park to Sing the National Anthem at the Summer Concert Series at the Smithtown Library

Legislator Rob Trotta introduced Roseanne Kleppsattel, who sang the National Anthem at the July 14 Dennis Cannataro Summer Concert Series at the Smithtown Library.

Smithtown, NY - July 18, 2016 - Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta introduced Roseanne Kleppsattel, who sang the National Anthem at the July 14 Dennis Cannataro Summer Concert Series at the Smithtown Library. Ms. Kleppsattel recently retired as a nurse at the VA Hospital in Northport and she is a member of the choir at St. Joseph’s Church. For more than 20 years, she had been a volunteer firefighter with the Kings Park Fire Department.

“I first heard Roseanne sing at the Kings Park Fire Department’s Installation Dinner last year and thought it would be great to have her sing the National Anthem at the summer concerts,” said Legislator Rob Trotta.

The concerts are held each Thursday night at 8pm on the front lawn of the Smithtown main Library through August 18. The Sunrise Rotary also collects non-perishable food items and toiletries for the Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry.

Legislator Robert Trotta represents the 13th Legislative District, which includes Smithtown, Fort Salonga, Kings Park, San Remo, Nissequogue, Head of the Harbor, and St. James, as well as most of East Northport and parts of Northport and Commack.

Legislator Trotta serves on the Legislature’s Economic Development, Environment, Planning & Agriculture, Health, Public Works, Transportation & Energy, and Ways & Means Committees.
