Police Release Composite Drawing of Suspect Wanted in Robbery of Hempstead Mobile Phone Store
Hempstead, NY - July 17, 2017 - The Third Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 3:47 pm in Hempstead.
According to detectives, a 17 year old female employee working at the Mobil Talk II located at 175 Fulton Avenue was approached by an unknown male black subject that demanded cash. The male simulated a handgun under his sweatshirt. The female employee complied and the subject fled on foot towards Terrace Avenue with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.
He was further described as being 50 years old, 5’6” tall, thin build and having a grey beard. He was wearing grey hooded sweatshirt.
There were no injuries reported.
