CANCELLED - Suffolk County Police Issue Alert for Missing Centereach Man

UPDATE - July 17, 2018 - Police found Eric Williams dead inside a house located on Vanderbilt Blvd. in Oakdale. The death does not appear to be suspicious.

Centereach, NY - July 16, 2018 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating a Centereach man who was reporting missing.
 
Eric Williams left his home, located at 33 Jonas Blvd., on July 13 at 5 p.m. He left in his 2011 gray Ford Ranger with New York license plate HWV 3469. His parents reported him missing on July 14.
 
Williams is described as white, 27, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 170 pounds, blue eyes with light brown hair and a beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing tan shorts, white T-shirt, work boots and a silver cross necklace. He also has a tattoo of a cross on his right shoulder.
 
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 911 or the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
