Kings Park Resident Earns Eagle Scout Award

Smithtown, NY - July 15, 2014 - Suffolk County Legislator Robert Trotta and NYS Assemblyman Michael Fitzpatrick recognized Charles Tekverk at his recent Eagle Scout Court of Honor. For his Eagle Scout project, Charles constructed three benches outside of Travis Hall at St. Joseph’s Church in Kings Park to be used by parishioners and children attending summer camp. “Your Eagle Scout project and your involvement in scouting and its related activities have helped to make our town a better place for all of us and I hope that you will continue to be an active member of the community,” said Legislator Trotta.
