Nassau County Cops to Give 600 Children with Disabilities a Helping Hand

Lido Beach, NY - July 15, 2016 - Nassau County Police Commissioner Thomas C. Krumpter and Hempstead Town Supervisor Anthony Santino, along with 50 police officers, will join over 600 children and young adults with disabilities for a day of fun at a carnival sponsored by the Nassau County Police Benevolent Association on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 12:45 p.m. The carnival will be held at Camp Anchor located in Lido Beach Town Park in Lido Beach, NY.  The carnival provides a day camp experience for children with disabilities living within The Town of Hempstead

Where: Lido Beach Town Park, Lido Boulevard - Gate 15, Lido Beach

Directions: Take Meadowbrook Parkway south to loop parkway, Exit M10, Point Lookout, Long Beach. Take loop parkway to end. Make a right onto Lido Boulevard. The camp is on the left.
