Suspect Wanted for Stealing $500 in OTC Medication from New Hyde Park CVS

New Hyde Park, NY - July 15th, 2015 - Third Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in New Hyde Park on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 5:35 P.M.

According to detectives, a male subject entered CVS Pharmacy located at 310 Hillside Ave., and was observed by an employee, taking numerous boxes of Claritin and putting them inside his pants pockets.

When the employee approached the subject, the subject motioned towards his waistband and stated he had a gun (none displayed). The subject fled the scene on foot southbound on Hillside Blvd., with the proceeds valued at $490.85.

No injuries were reported.

The subject is described as a male black, mid 20’s, 5’8” tall, medium build, wearing black baggy jeans, blue t-shirt, Toronto Blue Jays baseball hat, and earrings in both ears.
