MTA Transportation Reinvention Commission Meetings Today and Tomorrow

Manhattan, NY - July 15th, 2014 - As a reminder, the MTA Transportation Reinvention Commission is meeting this week with public meetings open to the press.  All meetings will take place at 347 Madison Avenue, between 44th and 45th Streets, and will be live webcast here.

1 p.m. to 4 p.m.:  Remarks to the Commission by Invited Transportation Experts
  • Joan McDonald, New York State Transportation Commissioner 
  • Anthony Shorris, First Deputy Mayor, City of New York
  • Polly Trottenberg, New York City Transportation Commissioner 
  • Stuart Appelbaum, Representative, NYC Regional Economic Development Council 
  • Veronique “Ronnie” Hakim, Executive Director, New Jersey Transit 
5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.: the commission will hear comments from members of the public.

 
Tomorrow, Wednesday, July 16
9 a.m. to noon: Remarks to the Commission by Invited Transportation Experts
