Residents of the Town of Babylon will be rockin’ and rollin’ this summer after all. The annual summer concert series has been modified into a drive-in format to begin on Wednesday, July 22 and will be held at Tanger Outlets in Deer Park.

This follows a slew of drive-in movie shows announced around Long Island and a similar format for concerts at TOBAY beach recently announced.

“These concerts are being held in a drive-in format due to COVID-19, which has caused the Town of Babylon to modify many of the plans that it had in place for summer 2020,” the township announced in a statement.

Shows are open to Town of Babylon residents only. Attendees must display a Town of Babylon beach sticker or driver’s license with an address within the town to gain entry. All shows begin at 8pm with gates opening at 6pm.

The lineup for the concert series is as follows:

  • July 22: The Lords of 52nd Street
  • July 29: Rock This Town Orchestra
  • August 5: Shadows of the 60s- Tribute to Motown
  • August 12: Desert Highway - Tribute to the Eagles
