NCPD Crime Alert: Franklin Square Chase Bank Robbed

Franklin Square, NY - July 14th, 2015 - The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Robbery that occurred in Franklin Square on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 9:20 am.

According to Robbery Squad detectives, an unknown male subject entered the Chase Bank located at 654 Franklin Avenue and approached two female tellers displaying a black handgun and demanded cash. After the tellers complied the subject fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of US currency through the rear door in a north direction.

There were 6 employees and 3 customers present in the bank at the time of the incident. There were no injuries reported.

The male subject is described as being black skinned, 20-30 years of age, 5’10” – 6’1” tall, 170 Lbs., long sleeve black/blue wide stripe shirt, Brooklyn Nets baseball cap, blue bandanna partially covering face.
