Breaking News: Skeletal Remains Found off Southern State Parkway Near Exit 40, NYS Police Say
On Thursday July 13, 2023, around 7:15 a.m., New York State Police responded to a call of skeletal remains found off the Southern State Parkway eastbound in the wooded area around exit 40 in the town of Islip, Suffolk County.
The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and Forensic Identification Unit (FIU) are on scene.
