Officials: Four People Arrested on Drug Charges in Shirley; Drugs, Weapons and Paraphernalia Seized

Shirley, NY - July 12, 2018 - Suffolk County Police arrested four people in connection with drugs and weapons charges following the execution of a search warrant at a Shirley home on Thursday, July 12, 2018.
 
Following an investigation in response to neighborhood complaints, Narcotics Section detectives, with assistance from the Seventh Squad, Seventh Crime Section, Emergency Service Section and Canine Section, executed a search warrant at a residence on Sleepy Hollow Drive at approximately 6 a.m.
 
Investigators seized heroin, cocaine, marijuana, a loaded AK-47 assault rifle, a loaded Mossberg 12 gauge pistol grip shotgun, assorted ammunition, a kilo press, scales, packaging, cell phones, a video surveillance system and $705.
 
Four residents of the home were arrested. Errol Allen, 30, was charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree and two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree. Jalesa Woods, 26, was charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, two counts of Criminal Use drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree and a bench warrant. Sophia Karger, 24, was charged with two counts Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and a bench warrant. Robert Guilfoil, 25, was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree.
 
All four are scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip tomorrow.
 
Officials from the Town of Brookhaven responded and condemned the residence.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
