Man Arrested in Elmont After Nabbed by Police with Drugs, ID Theft Gear

Elmont, NY - July 11, 2017 - Fifth Squad detectives report the details of an arrest for criminal possession of a forged instrument that occurred in Elmont on Monday, 07/10/17 at 7:54 P.M.
 
According to detectives, Fifth Precinct police officers responded to a call on Ruby St. for a narcotics violation. Once at scene, officers found Tyrone Warren, 34, of Springfield Gardens to be in possession of two large plastic bags of marijuana, Oxycodone pills, forged credit cards and a credit card skimming device.
 
Warren is being charged with Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 4th Degree, two counts of Possession Forged Instrument 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession Marijuana 4th Degree and Criminal Possession Marijuana 5th Degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, 07/11/17 in First District Court, Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
