Police Seeking Suspect Involved in North Bellport Hit-and-Run that Injured Pedestrian

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad Detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash in North Bellport.
 
A pedestrian was struck on Atlantic Avenue at Doane Avenue, North Bellport by a silver or gray sedan driven by a black man wearing a white shirt. The vehicle should have front end damage. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
