Wyandanch, NY - July 10th, 2014 - Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that injured a Wyandanch man this evening.

A 20-year-old man was on North 15th Street, near Washington Avenue, in Wyandanch, when he was shot multiple times at approximately 5 p.m.  He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are investigating the incident and ask anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential.
