Three Wanted for Shoplifting at the South Shore Mall

Bay Shore, NY - July 10th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate three suspects who stole merchandise from a high-end retail store in Bay Shore last month.

On Friday, June 27, 2014, a male and two females entered a store in the South Shore Mall located at 1701 Sunrise Service Road and stole 30 watches from a locked display case using a copy of the key. After placing the watches in a large shopping bag, the suspects fled the store. The merchandise is valued at approximately $7500.00.

The male is described as Hispanic, in his 30s and the female suspects are also described as Hispanic, in their 40s. All three suspects appear to be between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall. These suspects may have been involved in similar thefts that took place at Smith Haven and Roosevelt Field Malls prior to and following this incident.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
