Sayville Bank Robbed

July 8th, 2013 - Sayville, NY - Suffolk County Police detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at a Capital One Bank in Sayville today.

A man entered the bank, located 160 Main St., at approximately 3:40 p.m., handed the teller a note demanding cash.  The teller complied with the demand and the suspect fled the bank on foot.  He was last seen heading westbound on Main Street.

The subject is described as a white male with a thin medium build, between 5 feet 5 inches tall and 5 feet 8 inches tall.  He was wearing a long sleeve shirt, shorts, knee-high socks, dark sunglasses, and a fedora style hat.
