Suspect Wanted for Passing Counterfeit Currency in Bridgehampton

Bridgehampton, NY - July 8th, 2015 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who used counterfeit money at a store in Bridgehampton last month.

A man entered Game Stop, located at 2044 Montauk Highway, and used a counterfeit $100 bill to make a purchase on May 11 at approximately 6 p.m. The suspect was described as white, in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 pounds.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
