Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci recetnly announced the Town of Huntington boarded up the house at 50 Teed Street after the SCPD issued an arrest warrant for illegal occupants:

“Today the Town of Huntington's Departments of Public Safety, led by Joe Cirigliano, and General Services, led by Andre Sorrentino, boarded up the house at 50 Teed Street after the SCPD executed an arrest warrant for illegal occupants. Great job by Town Code Enforcement Inspector Barry Zippelius, SCPD Lt. Mike Teplanski and the 2nd Precinct Crime Squad for their tireless efforts on behalf of our Huntington Station community!”

The Town Board scheduled a public hearing for the May 11, 2021 Town Board meeting, when the Town Board designated the property as a nuisance, authorizing the Town to remedy any blight issues and charge the cost of remediation as a lien against the property owner's tax bill.
