Flapjacks for a Fine Cause!

July 2, 2013 - North Babylon, NY - Suffolk County Legislator Lou D’Amaro (D-North Babylon) recently shared a short stack to support a great cause as he joined the Southeast SECCA Pancake Fundraiser Breakfast 2013.

Invited by SECCA President Dr. Tyrone Bennett, Legislator D’Amaro met with several community members at the event which also featured music, entertainment and a car wash. All proceeds from the fundraiser will support SECCA programs. 
 
“I want to thank Dr. Tyrone Bennett and all of the SECCA members who attended this great event,” said Legislator D’Amaro. “The pride in the community is evident. I look forward to keeping the lines of communication open with this active civic association as we work together to address issues of local interest.”

Suffolk County Legislator Lou D’Amaro represents the 17th Legislative District, which includes parts of Huntington, Huntington Station, South Huntington, Melville, West Hills, Cold Spring Hills, Dix Hills, Deer Park, North Babylon and West Babylon. He is chairman of the Ways & Means committee and vice chairman of both the Parks & Recreation and Economic Development & Energy committees of the Suffolk County Legislature.
