Holbrook, NY - July 2, 2018 - Legislator Lindsay recently swore in Suzanne Piard as his representative on the Women’s Advisory Board for the Eighth Legislative District. Suzanne is the president of Spelman Studios in Sayville and is a well-known community activist. She is responsible for not only the day to day operations of the studio but also is a professional photographer herself. Prior to her tenure as President of Spelman Studios, she was employed at Jil-Crest Color Lab in Massapequa where she oversaw multiple staff members and every aspect of the business including the needs and wants of clients.

Suzanne was selected because of her commitment to the community, women’s issues and her dedication on behalf of not only women but all residents of the Eighth Legislative District.

“Suzanne is an outstanding advocate for our community,” said Legislator Lindsay. “She serves as a great example of how to excel here in Suffolk County. I am confident she will be a wonderful addition to the Women’s Advisory Board.”
