NCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Plainview Bank Robbery

Plainview, NY - July 2nd, 2014 - Robbery Squad detectives are investigating a Bank Robbery that occurred on July 1, 2014 at 3:30 pm in Plainview.

According to detectives, a male black subject entered the Bank of America, 565 S. Oyster Bay Road, approached a teller and made a verbal demand for money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject, who was described as being 5’8” tall, in his 20’s, wearing a dark colored “True Religion” t-shirt, dark baseball cap with a light colored rim and holding a white t-shirt up to his face, fled the bank and was last seen on foot heading eastbound on Island Street.

During the Robbery there were 5 employees present. No injuries were reported.
