O.G. Ramen

 

O.G. Ramen opened in Babylon late in 2020, adding to the ever-increasing choices in the growing popularity of the Japanese noodle soup.

 

O.G. Ramen’s menu features Classic ramen ($16), an Original version with chicken broth, faux shoyu seasoning, thin noodle, pork, seasoned egg, wood ear mushroom, baby corn, fried red onion, and scallions ($16), what they call The Salad, with iceberg lettuce, chilled kale noodle, chicken, seasoned egg, cherry tomato, cucumber, baby corn, sweet bell pepper, and house-made ginger dressing ($12).

Sei Ramen

 

The menu at Sei Ramen breaks down three different broth bases: Pork, Chicken Soup, and Vegetarian. They also offer rice dishes, like curry rice, and small plates like edamame, dumplings, and Takoyaki, octopus puffs.

Rakkii Ramen

 

According to the owner, the name Rakkii Ramen, a new Japanese ramen noodle restaurant in Smithtown, comes from the pronunciation of the Japanese word for lucky.

 

Popular items on the menu include the Tonkotsu Ramen which they say is the most classic ramen dish in the restaurant, made with pork broth. If you’re looking for classic ramen, this is the one to try. Spicy Miso is another popular item. If you like your food spicy this would be a good choice. Their most unique offering is the Curry Ramen.

Ronin Ramen

 

This new ramen joint called Ronin Ramen opened in Patchogue recently, and according to a story in GreaterPatchogue, three local restaurateurs are teaming up to bring this latest culinary craze to the village.

 

Included on the menu are ramen choices like their pork tonkotsu ($18), chicken shio ($18), and mushroom ($18), which you can make with miso or make it spicy for $1 more. They also offer appetiser dishes including spicy edamame ($6), fluke crudo (m/p), beef tartare ($13), and miso butter broiled oysters ($13).
